Mitch McConnell went to bed sad and woke up even sadder. Georgia voted in Jon Ossoff and Reverend Raphael Warnock as Senators giving Republicans Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue the boot. This means Mitch has been ditched as Senate Majority Leader — because, y’know, the GOP no longer holds the Senate!

After decades of smugness and arrogance, the turtle man has retreated back into his shell.

And the majority of Americans couldn’t be happier.

Naturally, Twitter was around to celebrate.
